Training Grounds

At Hifive Kennels we have over 400 acres of private training grounds with a abundance of liberated Bobwhite Quail. This is where we start and work dogs during the song bird quiet time. It is a mixture of open rye fields and mixed hardwoods

After dogs have been started on our training grounds and are performing well on the liberated birds I take them into the grouse woods for bird work on wild Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock. I live near thousands of acres of state land that is groomed to favor these wild birds.
