Spring Training Pictures 2006
Spring training got started in February down in northwest Oklahoma. Dogs were worked on wild Bobwhite Quail everyday. I leased a section of land and was able to run dogs there as well as on nearly a section of land at Coyote Hills Ranch where I stayed. Coyote Hills Ranch is located in Cheyenne. I saw as many as 12 coveys in one day and averaged 8 coveys per day. Although conditions were very dry, we did manage to get birds pointed everyday. My camera broke so I apologize for not getting pictures of all the dogs.
After working dogs in Oklahoma I stopped in at Pheasant Ridge Hunt Club in Owenton Kentucky and worked dogs for 2 weeks. Here are some of the photos taken by clients.
